Miesha Theresa
Miesha Theresa Tate is an American mixed martial arts pundit. She is also a veteran of mixed martial art. Tate participated in the Ultimate Fighting Championships and was a UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. Born in Tacoma, Washington, she was an active participant in sports during her high school years. She began attending the mixed martial arts class within Central Washington University after a friend suggested it. Her first professional match was when she took on Elizabeth Posener (a Muay Thai expert) aged 20. Her first fight as a professional fighter at the HOOKnSHOOT One-Night Women's Grand Prix event in 2007. After two years, Tate became the Women's Champion of the FCF for the very first time. Tate was praised for her Brazilian Jiu-jitsu style and wrestled. In the following years, her renown grew when she became the first female to win the Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Championship. The model has appeared not only in mixed martial art, but also several publications and websites such as 'ESPN The Magazine' and Fitness Gurls. In addition the character she modeled is available in EA Sports UFC.
