Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thy fighter. She is currently a fighter within the UFC Flyweight division. Valentina Shevchenko, who is a former UFC Flyweight titleholder and UFC other fighter, is her older sister. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport started out in the form of a Muay Thai athlete. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title before being defeated by Suzane Mller with a majority vote. Antonina received a gold medal in 2007, a silver medal in 2008, a silver in 2007, she also won a bronze medal in 2008 and a medal gold in 2011. Antonina was also named IFMA World Amateur Muay Thailand Champion of 2016 by IFMA. Antonia's professional career began in 2003. In 2012, she took home the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship, in 2016, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016, she won the WMC World Championships. Antonina was most recently seen battling Isa TIDBLAD Keskikangas in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The fight was won by unanimity. Antonina Schevchenko began her professional MMA career in 2002 with an impressive win against Anara Baanova at the KFK Championships of Kyrgystan. She was victorious in the second round by TKO and then won the next 2-fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003, accumulating the record of 3-1. Shevchenko took a hiatus to pursue kickboxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui at Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko defeated Anissa in a unanimous decision and defeated Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in 2017. The league was dissolved in 2018, Shevchenko was a part of Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina knocked out Nievera using her superior striking abilities at the end of the fight by using knees on the body. Antonina was offered an UFC invitation following her win. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Strikes Finale in the fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight after winning the first bout by a unanimous decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from the loss, defeating Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler via a rear-naked choke submission. This earned her the bonus of a fight-of-the night. Shevchenko was victorious in her initial three fights before losing them to Katlyn Cahookagian, Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina recently lost by TKO in round two to Casey O'Neill, at UFC Fight Night Santos Vs. Walker.
