Taylor Swift's full name is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on the 13th of 1989, in West Reading, Pennsylvania U.S.A. Taylor Swift became an incredibly popular artist and singer in the beginning of 2001 when she began sharing her stories of pain and heartbreak. Swift developed an interest for music as a child and quickly progressed from playing in kids' shows, to making her debut in front of an audience. As Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner in front of the Philadelphia 76ers at a game when she was 11 she had already begun composing songs. The next year she started playing the guitar. Swift had taken her influences from the music of Shania Twain as well as The Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks in the world of music from the country genre, created her original songs to reflect the feeling of being alienated. In the year 13 Swift's parents decided to sell their property in Pennsylvania to move to Hendersonville Tennessee so she could dedicate more time in courting the country music labels near Nashville.
